New Routes Foundation supports orphaned young adults through university

WHAT WE DO

Young adults with no parents and little help deserve the opportunity to access NEW ROUTES for their lives.

We help our students find new routes that will help them to reach their full potential. There are two big changes in route that we focus on:

The first is Christian Discipleship. Even if our students excel in their careers and find financial success, without a firm foundation, it will all ultimately be in vain.

'I have hidden your word in my heart.' (Psalm 119:11)

The second is significantly increased employment potential via university sponsorship, internships, and skills courses.

'Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.' (Proverbs 16:3)

In the area of Kenya where we are based (Elgeyo-Marakwet county), only 1.3% of secondary school students go on to achieve a university degree. For orphaned students the opportunities are almost non-existent...

Our work focuses on discipling and sponsoring orphaned young adults to help them build successful futures for themselves.

“Orphaned and vulnerable young adults deserve the opportunity to access New Routes for their lives - ones that will enable them to reach their full potential.”
