My name is Abisag Jepkemoi Kiplagat. I am 20 years old. I am the youngest in a family of nine children. I lost my father when I was 10 years old. After this, my mother raised us with the support of my eldest brother. He worked as a truck driver to provide for us as he served in church. After COVID-19, work was not available anymore and he became a pastor full time. Life has not been easy but God has been our provider and I was able to finish my secondary school education despite the many challenges that we went through.

Having the opportunity to be sponsored by New Routes means alot to me. First, I will be able to pursue my career in Nursing so that I can be of help to my community. I have a passion for bringing a change in people’s lives and helping them to know Christ. I would like to help those in need to achieve their dreams in future, and influence the young to spread the love of Christ in their communities
